Multicoloured Hand Embroidered Cushion Pillowcase

Each intricate piece of these cushions is hand-stitched by skilled and outstanding Palestinian refugee artisans who are living in the camps across Lebanon.

Each cushion narrates the artisan’s journey as a woman and the story of the Palestinian camp and displacement. The quality of these cushions is Roouh’s signature that fills your heart with pride and treasure. These cushions are in a class of their own.

Why are these prices so high?

The artisans’ work is time-consuming and complex to produce these beautiful cushions. They are prioritising this work to earn from it so they can support their families and children to access fundamental human rights and meet their needs. In addition, the materials and threads become very expensive and in foreign currency in Lebanon. So, these women are compensated by the price of the market’s rise in the materials’ fees and their unique and extraordinary embroidery skills and talents produced in such artistic cushions.

These cushions are filled with pride, love, passion, commitment and beauty of art and humans. These feelings will encourage you to still pay for these beautiful pieces.

These cushions and traditional motifs and patterns present a journey through centuries and people.
